After many years working within the childcare and education fields Kimberley took note of the large gaps that some of our most incredible young learners fall through in a mainstream setting.
This can be for various reasons, from physical health to learning challenges to just ‘not fitting the mold’. It is the vision of Whizzdom Education to ensure that all learners are given a space in which they feel valued and celebrated for who they are, working with and encouraging their differences!
In order to best achieve our vision as well as our mission, of developing well rounded, well adapted and eager to learn young minds. Whizzdom education has affiliated and registered with some of the top curriculum provider in our country.
IMPAQ provides excellent quality learning and assessment material for learners of all stages. We have also ensured that our tutor to learner ratio never exceeds that of 10 learners per tutor, in order for each learner to be successfully guided along his/her own individualised learning paths.
We believe that each learner has their own way of seeing the world around them, influencing the ways in which they learn. It is our jobs as tutors to find and work with each learner’s unique ability in order for them to thrive, both academically and personally
At Whizzdom Education, we follow the CAPS curriculum
The Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement set out by South Africa’s Department of Basic Education. This ensures that every learner receives a nationally recognized, structured, and comprehensive education that meets the required academic standards.
To deliver this effectively, we make use of Impaq, one of South Africa’s leading homeschool curriculum providers. Impaq supplies high-quality learning materials, lesson guides, assessments, and online support that align perfectly with the CAPS requirements
